Stationary & gifts
Several colourful stationery and gift collections have been published by Bekking & Blitz, featuring nature-themed illustrations. These products have been sold in a wide network of (museum) shops throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, and most are now sold out.
The collections include a wide range of stationery – such as notebooks, writing pads, block pads, exercise books and letter paper – alongside small gift items and everyday objects, including napkins, coasters, placemats, trays and eyeglass cases.
In addition to the four themed series shown below (Passion for Butterflies, Touch of Zen, African Animals, and Butterflies and Flowers), several stand-alone items have been developed, such as a jigsaw puzzle with bird illustrations and a giftwrap book full of decorative patterns.
Each design was created for Bekking & Blitz in collaboration with my licensing partner in the Netherlands, Orange Licensing. These collections are loved by nature lovers and design enthusiasts alike — bringing joy, calm and character to everyday moments.

Passion for butterflies
Passion for Butterflies is a nature-inspired stationery and gift collection by Bekking & Blitz, released in 2024.
It features a bright mix of yellow and orange butterfly species, such as the swallowtail, combined with lush passion flowers.
This butterfly-themed design appears on a variety of items, including coasters, folding bags, mini placemats, notebooks, writing pads, greeting cards, eyeglass cases, and napkins. A cheerful and colourful line for nature and butterfly lovers alike.
Touch of zen
Touch of Zen is a refined stationery and gift collection by Bekking & Blitz released in 2021 and inspired by the elegance of the red-crowned crane. The designs feature dancing cranes in bold red, black and white tones, set against delicate blossom-like floral patterns.
The collection includes a variety of items, such as eyeglass cases, lipstick boxes, placemats, writing paper, notebooks, napkins, and folding bags.
A favourite among those who love Eastern aesthetics.
African animals
African Animals is a compact stationery and gift collection by Bekking & Blitz, released in 2020–2021.
The series celebrates the beauty of African wildlife, with expressive illustrations of elephants, lions, hippos, zebras, rhinos giraffes, and chimpanzees.
The designs appeared on placemats, notebooks, magnets, and a series of greeting cards — perfect for animal lovers and those drawn to the African wilderness.
Butterflies & Flowers
Butterflies and flowers was the very first stationery and gift collection by Bekking & Blitz featuring my illustrations, released in 2018.
This series includes a rich mix of butterflies and flowers in a refined, decorative pattern — different in both mood and style from the later Passion for Butterflies collection.
With smaller, detailed depictions of species like the brimstone butterfly and the peacock butterfly, along with imaginary butterflies, this line is full of variety. The flowers are equally diverse, creating a colourful and joyful design.
