Wall art

As an artist I used to paint on large canvasses with acrylics and oil paints. However when I my artwork changed from these large paintings to small watercolors, I really wanted to be able to create artwork that would make a statement in a room. Thanks to modern techniques I was soon able to create high quality size prints of my watercolors on Fine Art papers, metal and canvas.

Designs
Besides showing a single subject on a white background, similar to the original I paint, I can also combine images to create a totally new design, like some of the examples below. Like a zebra on a simple white background, two cranes combined with some blossom, a combination of different birds with names in one print, and a landscape on the background of a pinguin family. As you can see the possibilities are endless, so if  you want me to create a custom design for you, do not hesitate to contact me >
Materials
The advantage of creating illustrations of my work is that it can be printed on different materials, depending on your taste and budget. From basic photopaper to very luxury HD metal prints, from matte to shiny surfaces and from structured surfaces to smooth undergrounds. Just take a look at the options below. Some of these prints are handmade and produced by myself, other materials are made by my printing partners located around the world. If you are live outside Europe or the United States, please contact me for information about the possibilities in your countries.

Fine art & photopaper

Fine Art paper
All paper I use for my wall at prints has been selected with great care for high quality. My fine Art paper has a natural white color and it has a slightly structured surface and a smooth overall look and feel. This paper looks very similar to the paper I draw and paint on and is almost impossible to distinguise from the original artwork.

Photopaper
If you are loooking for a high quality poster, photopaper is the very material you are looking for. I use heavy bright white paper with a pearl gloss.

Ink
I use Canon Lucia archival ink for all my handmade prints, which ensures longlasting museum quality. You can find photos of the differences between Fine Art paper and Photopaper in the image gallery below. Click on the image to read the details.

         Canvas

Canvasses are producted by my production partners based in countries over the world. Canvasses are standard delivered streched over a 0.75 inch wooden frame. If you prefer a canvas print without a wooden frame or on a thicker framer, that is always possible on request, so contact me for more details..

The canvasses are printed with white borders / sides so a frame is not really necessary. Please see the photos below.

Foam board

My work can also be printed on several different shapes of foamboard, called Forex. Forex is lightweight 5mm thick foamboard with a matte finish on which colors show up very brightly. Despite it's light weight, Forex is a very strong material and the best part is that it can be cut in all kinds shapes: cirlcles, squares, hexagrams etc.. The circular shapes are by far my favorite so I decided to hang a few in my office with some of my hummingbirds illustrations.
